Versus (Original)

Overview

Battle against any Adventurer of the Void in the Realmverse. Use PARTICLE to enter and win XP and ANIMA.

How to Battle

Choose an Attacker(left hand side) and an Opponent(right hand side). You can see your chance of winning under the Attacker that you chose.
There are two questions you'll want to ask yourself when choosing Attacker and Opponent:
  • Do I want a high chance of winning?
  • Do I want to win bonus ANIMA?
These two aspects will dictate how you choose the right trait balance on both sides.

Attacker

This is the AoV that initiates the battle. The attacker will choose the opponent they want to battle.

Opponent

This the AoV chosen as the opponent by the attacker.

Game flow

  1. 1.
    Attacker will choose an opponent to battle
  2. 2.
    Attacker will initiate the battle
  3. 3.
    Attacker will see results of battle immediately

Battle Log

Both Attacker and Opponent will be able to see their Battle Log on the Adventurer page. You can view the Adventurer page by click on an adventurer found here: https://app.rlm.land/adventurers.

Cost

You will need PARTICLE to go into Battle. Cost will be based on your Transcendence level.

For example
An AoV at Level 3 would be: (3 * 0.05) * .5 = 0.075

Winning Conditions

Accumulate the most total points to be crowned the winner. In the event of a tie, the Opponent is the winner.
Each Trait performs a roll. That's 6 total rolls. Let's define some terms before we begin.

Stronger Trait

A trait with a higher value than your opponents. Having a higher value increases your chances of winning the Trait roll.
For example
If your Strength is 20 and your opponents is 10 than you have the Stronger Trait.

Weaker Trait

A trait with a lower value than your opponents. Having a lower value decreases you chances of winning the Trait roll. If you win with a Weaker Trait, you will receive an ANIMA rewards bonus.
For example
If your Strength is 10 and your opponents is 20 than you have the Weaker Trait.

Minimum Trait Value

The value below which you have a 1% chance of winning a roll. That means that you always have a chance of winning even if your Trait Value is much lower than your Opponent.
The formula used is: Stronger Trait / 2
For example
If your Strength is 10 and your opponents Strength is 30, you will have a 1% chance of winning that trait roll.
The reason is because10is less than(30 / 2)

How Points Work

Each roll has a point value based on the difference between the chance of winning. The winner of the role, earns those points.
For example
If your chance of winning is 10%, the difference between you and your Opponent is 70.

Upsets

If you win a Trait roll with a Weaker Trait its an Upset Win. These types of wins give you bonus ANIMA as the Attacker.

XP Rewards

You'll be given 1 XP for every Battle.

Cooldowns

Attacker

Cooldown for Attackers is 24 hours.

Opponent

Cooldown for Opponents is 24 hours.

Attacker ANIMA Rewards

Attacker winners are awarded ANIMA based on their Transcendence level.
If the attacker is able to win a Trait roll with a Weaker Trait than their opponents, they will receive bonus ANIMA.

ANIMA Bonus

ANIMA bonus is calculated based on how many Weaker Trait rolls you win. You can potentially 2x your ANIMA if you win all 6 rolls with a Weaker Trait.

Opponent ANIMA Rewards

Opponent winners will receive 10% of ANIMA rewards based on their Transcendence level.
